Nicholas Wisdom, ABPP, PhD
Education: Dr. Nicholas Wisdom obtained his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2010. He then completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine and a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Wisdom has been board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) since 2015.
Employment: Dr. Wisdom is the CEO and co-founder of Neurocognitive Specialty Group (NSG), a nationwide network of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists specializing in forensic and clinical evaluations. NSG has established clinics in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Georgia, and its larger network of providers covers 46 states.
Forensic Specialty Areas: Dr. Wisdom has extensive experience conducting evaluations as part of the NFL (both MAF and BAP) and NCAA Concussion Settlements. Dr. Wisdom also has considerable experience conducting IMEs related to Personal Injury (85% defense, 15% plaintiff), Defense Base Act (DBA), Return-to-Work, Fitness-for-Duty, and Pre-employment (police) evaluations. Dr. Wisdom is also an approved FAA Aviation Neuropsychologist.
Research: Dr. Wisdom has presented and published widely on topics related to posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), malingering, validity testing, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and aging.
