Jonathan Fillauer, PhD
Dr. Jonathan Fillauer joined Neurocognitive Specialty Group in 2024. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2015. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2021. Additionally, he completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology and two-year specialty residency in neuropsychology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. He has been an independently practicing neuropsychologist since 2023.He enjoys taking his rescued racing Greyhound for walks and reading SciFi novels.
Why did you choose neuropsychology as a profession?
I chose neuropsychology as a profession because of the many opportunities it provides to understand the complexities of the brain and behavior while helping people better understand their functioning and changes in functioning.

I chose to work at NSG due to how clearly committed the team is to providing quality care to various populations and answering neuropsychological questions.
